From 100% Iberico pigs raised free-range on the Blázquez family dehesas in Extremadura, Andalucía and Salamanca. During the Montanera, from autumn to winter, they feed on the acorns of cork and holm oaks.
Each piece is salted under controlled conditions, then slowly cured, first in rooms, then in a natural drying shed in Guijuelo, the cradle of Iberico ham.
Tasting: ruby-red meat, finely marbled with infiltrated fat; aromas of hazelnut, acorn and toasted dried fruit, with a hint of undergrowth; melt-in-the-mouth texture and a long finish.
Knife-sliced: the traditional cut, in thin slices, vacuum-packed in packs of about 100 g, easy to plate.
Serving: take the pack out 15 to 20 minutes before serving, open it and lay the slices on a plate at room temperature.
Our sliced Iberico ham packs are sold individually (~100 g per pack) — the final price is confirmed at the time of order, based on the quantity requested.
